Les centaures

by Winsor McCay (1921). In this animated silent short, a female centaur (half-human, half-horse creature) enters a clearing in the woods and picks flowers. She is met by a male centaur and the two romance each other. They then seek parental consent for their union. Unfortunately, only a small fragment of this beautiful animation survives as the rest is considered lost.
